Are Lovevery Play Kits Worth It?

I received my very first Lovevery's Play Kit several months ago and was enamored by the quality and design of the toys included!  We couldn't help but get a second box, and are now shopping for our third.  My daughter has been having a blast exploring the toys, using them creatively in her own way, as well as expanding her repertoire of language and motor skills.

As a pediatric speech-language pathologist (SLP), I see so much value in these specially-curated kits.  If you'd like to get a look at how to use these toys to promote speech and language development, I share tips, therapy ideas, and my honest review on Lovevery play kits here:

If you're interested in giving your little one the best start, please read on about my top 3 reasons for loving Lovevery

Top 3 Reasons Why I Love Lovevery 💕

1. It takes the guesswork out of early childhood education.

You can rest easy knowing that you have a high-quality and well-designed play kit that is perfect for your child's developmental age.  All of the toys, books, and materials included hold value and purpose.

Most of the time, the toys get all the rep because they are so eye-catching and unique.  It's often clear to see how they support a variety of skills, including fine motor, gross motor, creative play, language, cognition, and more.  However, I'd really like to take a moment to bring up the importance of Lovevery's books and how conducive they are to learning for our little ones.

Many of Lovevery's books are social stories that include real-life photographs of children participating in activities of daily living.  The three emotion books I received as part of the Observer Play Kit were well-written and purposeful in explaining a set of emotions through real-life scenarios that are common and relatable for the targeted age group.  Emotions, like feeling worried when having to face a perceived fear, or feeling angry when being told you're unable to have something you really want.  A key part of these stories is also in teaching children emerging skills in social problem-solving, like how to navigate these social situations and how to manage their emotions (whether through demonstrating self-advocacy by asking for help or employing coping strategies through verbal prompts from adults).

Overall, Lovevery does a beautiful job of targeting critical interpersonal and intrapersonal soft skills through stories.

2. It is convenient and easy to set up for busy parents!

The saying that "time is precious" could not be more true after I became a parent!  I'm grateful for Lovevery's subscription boxes because they are convenient, easy, and time-saving.

It really takes the stress out of having to research and shop for quality toys, books, and materials yourself.  With Lovevery, you get the right toys at the right time!  In addition, it's more cost-friendly in the end because I find that the items in each play kit are quite comprehensive and well-rounded.  That saves parents the need to purchase additional toys.  After receiving the play kits, you'll find that the toys are high-quality and made with clean materials, such as sustainably harvested wood, organic cotton, nontoxic paint, and baby-safe plastics.  It's the best bang for your buck.

Regarding the subscriptions, here's how it works!  You just need to sign up once (email me or message me on Instagram for a special coupon code!) with your child's birth date or due date, choose the starting play kit (one will be recommended to you based on your child's age), and decide if you want to pay kit-by-kit or prepay for 3 or 4 at a time to unlock additional discounts.

You can enjoy free shipping and also cancel at any time. It's risk-free!

3. You will see your child explore and grow in ways you haven't imagined.

Celebrate your little one's milestones and skills with these toys.  I can't say how much I've seen my daughter, Lena, grow simply from playing and interacting with these toys.

For starters, I find that attention is an often underrated area of growth that I've seen build up quite naturally with these toys.  Before receiving her Lovevery play kit, Lena would have a hard time playing independently.  She would constantly seek me out, request assistance for things that she was capable of, and switched from activity to activity without fully engaging in one on her own.

When Lena received her Observer Play Kit, she immediately took a liking to the modular play house set with the peg dolls, car, and furniture.  I was pleasantly surprised to see, that without adult prompting, she was able to sit down and immerse herself in pretend play with these objects alone.  It was amazing to see, and even hear her narrate parts of her active imagination, such as announcing that "Daddy and Lena drive in the car to buy groceries for Mama!"

Final Thoughts

Overall, I am so impressed with Lovevery's play kits.  I love knowing that I am providing my child the best start with stage-based play essentials that were designed by experts for my child's developing brain.
